The Cuttack- Paradeep road is a State Highway with a length of 82.00Km. This road starts from OMP Square at Cuttack City and connects Paradeep. |
| Objective : |
The road connects State Capital & temple city of Bhubaneswar with Paradeep passing through ancient city of Cuttack. Due to up coming major POSCO Steel Plant , Oil Refinery, PPL & Major Port at Paradeep, the development of this road is of immense importance. This road passes through densely populated rural areas as well as urban areas of Cuttack & Jagtsingpur District & is the lifeline of the people of these districts. This will also act as an alternative route to NH-5A for mining traffic to Paradeep port via Cuttack. Development of this road will uplift the socio-economic condition of the people of these districts. |
